I. Acceptance Of Terms

All web pages available at SensorMaestros.com and all linked pages and subdomains (“Site”), are owned and operated by SensorMaestros Electronics, Inc. (“SensorMaestros”) an American corporation and is accessed by you under the Terms of Service described below (“Terms”).

Please read these terms carefully before using the services. By accessing the site, viewing any content or using any services available on the site (as each is defined below) you are agreeing to be bound by these terms, which together with our Privacy Policy and Customer Support Policies, governs our relationship with you in relation to the site.

The Site is an online retailer of electronics assemblies, components, and accessories, as well as an online community which enables customers and visitors to share comments, opinions and ideas, participate in contests and promotions, and access support materials provided on the Site (“Services”). Services include, but are not limited to, any service and/or content SensorMaestros makes available to or performs for you, as well as the offering of any materials displayed, transmitted or performed on the Site or through the Services. Content (“Content”) includes, but is not limited to text, user comments, information, data, graphics, news articles, images, illustrations, software, and downloads.

Your access to the Site may be interrupted as a result of repair to or maintenance on the Site, or due to equipment malfunction, or any other reason that may be beyond the control of SensorMaestros. SensorMaestros reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend availability of the Site and/or any Service and/or remove any Content at any time. SensorMaestros may also impose limits on certain features and Services or restrict your access to parts of or all of the Site and the Services without notice.

Basically,
SensorMaestros.com is a site where you can buy stuff and participate in an online community. Sometimes the site will break or otherwise be inaccessible, and this may happen without warning.

III. Registration

In order to access the full set of Services you are required to open an account with SensorMaestros. If purchasing goods as a guest you are required to provide a valid email address in addition to valid billing and shipping information, but your access to all other services will be restricted (this will create a “guest” account that will contain no information other than your email address and order information). To access all Services you must open an account and select a password. Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your user account password is your responsibility. Additional registration information you provide is optional except where explicitly designated. Deliberately providing false registration information may constitute a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your SensorMaestros account.

You may optionally select a user name for your account, called an Alias. You may not use an Alias already in use by another user. If you use as an Alias a name that is offensive, vulgar, a registered trade mark or anything that is otherwise not legally available for your use this may result in you being denied use of that Alias or losing access to your user account.

Services are available only to individuals who are either (i) at least 18 years old, or (ii) at least 13 years old, and who are authorized to access the Site by a parent or legal guardian. If you have authorized a minor to use the Site, you are responsible for the online conduct of such minor, and the consequences of any misuse of the Site by the minor.

Basically,
You can buy stuff as a guest but then won’t have access to stuff people with regular accounts have, like posting comments or making wish lists. To use all site features you need to create a full account without violating the rights of others.

All features, content, specifications, products and prices of products and services described or depicted on the Site are subject to change at any time without notice. Certain weights, measures and similar descriptions are approximate and are provided for convenience purposes only. SensorMaestros makes all reasonable efforts to accurately display the attributes of our products, including the applicable colors; however, the actual color you see will depend on your computer system, and we cannot guarantee that your computer will accurately display such colors. The inclusion of any products or services on the Site at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time. The stuff we sell today may not be for sale tomorrow at the same price, or with the same specifications, or for sale at all. We do our best to portray our products accurately but can be wrong sometimes. You won’t use anything you buy from us to break any laws.

SensorMaestros has a trademark, so don’t go violating it by calling yourself SensorMaestros. Don’t steal content you see here. If you use something here that’s open sourced then do so without violating the license on it.

VIII. Shipping and Returns

When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on the Site and with US law. All purchases from the Site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from the Site pass to you upon delivery of the items to your specified shipping address (DAP, buyer’s shipping address, Incoterms® 2010) unless otherwise specified in writing. You are responsible for contacting us to initiate any claim for damaged and/or lost shipments. You are responsible for paying any import duties and taxes on your order. SensorMaestros does not do business with entities in, or who intend to reexport any product to, a country embargoed by the government of the United States. Currently, the only countries we do not ship to are Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. You are responsible for ensuring no product purchased from SensorMaestros is transported through or to one of those countries. See our Shipping Policy for more detail.

SensorMaestros accepts returns for any unmodified product for any reason within 90 calendar days from the date of receipt of merchandise. After such time, requests for return will be considered but are not guaranteed to be accepted. “Unmodified” means a product that is in the same condition in which it was received. Basically,
We only ship stuff where we’re legally allowed to ship stuff. We accept returns but not if you didn’t read the manual and fried your board. More details can be found in our Shipping and Returns policies.

And if you do, you absolve SensorMaestros and/or the manufacturer of the product in question of all damages, costs, and expenses that may be incurred, including without limitation, attorney fees and costs related to any lawsuit or threatened lawsuit arising out of the use of our products in unauthorized applications.

Stuff you buy from us may break. Don’t use it in a project where somebody’s life or safety is on the line (don’t hack your pacemaker)!

SensorMaestros assumes no responsibility, nor will be liable, for any damages to, or any viruses or malware that may infect your computer, telecommunication equipment, or other property caused by or arising from your access to, use of, or browsing the Site, or your downloading of any information or materials from the Site. SensorMaestros does business in Colorado (US). If you take us to trial for any reason it has to be in Colorado court.

You or we may suspend or terminate your account or your use of the Site at any time, for any reason or for no reason. You are personally liable for any orders placed or charges incurred through your account prior to termination. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue all or any aspect of the Site at any time without notice.

You can be banned from this site. If you owe us money and get banned or you shut down your account you still owe us money.

Returns

We want you to love your new parts and gadgets! Sometimes your project changes or something is not working the way you thought it would. Never fear, we are here to help!

90 day unmodified return policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, we will be happy to authorize a return for any unused and unmodified items purchased within 90 days.

Modified product return policy

If you have modified your part and something goes wrong or you aren’t satisfied with your item, our fantastic team of dedicated technicians can help trouble shoot and offer advice to determine if your parts are defective.

In the event that something is determined to be a manufacturer error or failure due to defective materials, we will repair, return or exchange the item(s) as needed.

Damaged in Shipment

Please email right away. Include a description of the damages and pictures of the damaged items/packaging. This information is very helpful to us in assessing how we package our orders and helps prevent similar problems in the future. Replacements will be arranged with Customer Service as needed.

General Return Guidelines

  • All RMAs must be authorized with us prior to sending any returns back.
  • Returns must include any accessories, documentation, etc. included with the product. Your return may be denied if incomplete or damaged.
  • Please do not remove, desolder, or otherwise modify any connected items before contacting Tech Support. We are here to help!
  • Eligibility for return of modified items is determined on a case-by-case basis; we can not guarantee eligibility for modified items.
  • Returns may take up to 2 weeks to process, not including transit times.
  • Replacement orders can not be modified to include different or additional parts.
  • SensorMaestros will pay/refund return shipping charges if the damage is found to be related to a manufacture error.
  • Returns for orders older than 90 days are eligible for replacement or store credit only.
  • We reserve the right to limit support, and deny returns on items that were purchased over a year ago, ding and dent items, old version releases, and products not purchased directly from SensorMaestros electronics.
  • In the event that your return is not received in restockable condition, we reserve the right deny your return, or change your refund method to store credit only. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • For best service and lowest risk of loss/damage to your return, we suggest that it is sent via a trackable shipping method such as FedEx Ground. Lost packages that are sent via non tracked methods are not guaranteed.
  • No returns should be sent in a flat envelope. The mail system uses rollers to sort the flat packages and crush/damage the items in transit. Please use a box or reinforced padded mailer at a minimum.

We apologize that there is a small selection of products that we can not offer a return on. This list includes

If a non returnable item arrives damaged or is not functioning properly, please do not hesitate to contact us to see if further action may be taken.

Please note that due to shipping regulations, you can not legally ship Lipo batteries without proper certification.
