Sensor Maestros developed the SFM2 9 DOF Wearable IMU to allow users to capture 2D and 3D movement data.  This 9 DOF IMU is a wearable show-casing High Performance and Low Power Operation.  In addition the SFM2 9 DOF IMU can be attached to whatever you want to monitor via velcro straps.  The SFM2 provides Sensor Fusion outputs in addition to Pressure/Altitude and Temperature, Humidity data.  Our team also developed the SENSR-LOGR mobile app to make configuration easy and simple.

Having all this functionality in the SFM2 9 DOF IMU there are all sorts of projects and applications that the SFM2 can be used for.   Performance packed, the SFM2 provides up to 833Hz Sensor Fusion with configurable Oversampling rate. Pro Performance features we included is the ability to synchronize and use multiple SFM2’s simultaneously.  All data is precision time-stamped.

Description

Sensor Maestros developed the SFM2 9 DOF Wearable IMU to allow users to monitor and capture movement data in 3D.  A design goal for the SFM2 was provide data logging for both RAW and Sensor Fusion Output data with precision time-stamping.  We also included a Pressure/Altitude sensor and we even included a Temperature and Humidity sensors.  Another design goal was to make it HIGHLY configurable and made it so that all sensors including the Pressure and Temperature, Humidity Sensors have individual Data Streams.  Each of the data streams can be enabled or disabled.  Furthermore we developed the SFM2 and the SENSR-LOGR mobile app so that multiple SFM2’s can be connected simultaneously and be synchronized.  To prove this capability we tested using 5 SFM2’s simultaneously logging the data to the SENSR-LOGR app.  The SFM2 9 DOF Wearable IMU also provides precision timestamps with +/-25us resolution.  Ultimately the SFM2 was designed to be highly configurable and allow individual sensor configuration.
